New York, USA, 12 May 2010 – SharePoint 2010 is released to businesses and, as an official launch partner, Core are delighted to have been working closely with Microsoft over the past few months in preparation for its release.

The official launch took place at 11am (EST) at a rooftop event in New York with Stephen Elop, the president of Microsoft’s Business Division, delivering the keynote speech.

Microsoft’s focus for the new version is to create a business collaboration platform that connects and
empowers people, cuts costs with a unified structure and rapidly responds to business needs.
