As a regulatory body for the finance sector in Guernsey, GFSC wanted to modernise and improve their web-presence and promote a user-friendly and professional-looking site, in line with other financial organisations.
By engaging with Core, GFSC were able to address their business pain-points using the SharePoint 2010 platform, as Core’s Operations and Technical Director Eamon McGann explains; “By using SharePoint 2010, we were able to address all of the internal issues that had arisen from the limitations of their existing technology such as integration with existing line-of-business applications and the ability to simply and create and update web content. We were able to provide a platform allowing for future expansion to include an extranet.”
The site is now professional-looking, with considerably improved search capabilities and more logical site navigation. The experience for visitors is now much more engaging and user-friendly and the site is already proving to be a valuable source of information.
