Our History
Founded in 1990, Core provided Microsoft Infrastructure and Development skills to the Winterthur Group of Companies, rapidly becoming one of the leading authorities on Microsoft technologies to the financial services industries in the City of London.
In 1997 Winterthur merged with the Credit Suisse Group and in 2001 Winterthur International was sold to XL Capital. At the time of the sale, the management team at Core to completed a Management Buyout of Core from Credit Suisse Group.
Core became SharePoint specialists and delivered the first SharePoint solution in the UK in 2001. Since then, Core has established a strong reputation in the industry, continually setting the benchmark by designing, building, implementing and supporting innovative business solutions.
